How to apply for positions

Lake-Sumter EMS only accepts applications for advertised vacancies through our on-line job board. If you are interested in a position that is not advertised on our job board, it is not currently available – please check back periodically for updates.
Note: Our policy is to continuously accept applications for EMT and Paramedic positions, even though there may be no current vacancies. Applications for these two positions will be held for a period of up to 6 months pending future openings. Once openings exist, the job posting will be closed and only those individuals who have an application already on file will be considered.
When a job posting closes, all eligible applications on file will be reviewed and screening for minimum qualifications. Additional screening criteria may be used to narrow the candidate field to a manageable number. Applications are only considered for one posting and hiring cycle. Applicants who are not hired but who wish to be considered for future openings will need to reapply.
